How do I earn my boyfriend's trust after cheating?

Hmm i'm going to tell you my story to try and give you faith. I dated a guy 3 yrs ago for 13 months. I cheated on him within the first 2 weeks with his cousin. I told him eventually and we stayed together. We had fights all the time and he became abusive like what yours is like. He just didnt care about me anymore except when he got jealous i wasnt even allowed to see friends. Anyway we broke up. About 5 months ago we started talking and now we are back together and everythings fine. It seems hard at first but a break can really help.
