What did -Jesus ever do that confirmed he was the son of god?

Jesus made His own decision to sacrifice Himself. That's why He came to earth. Not to "die for our sins" (that doesn't even make sense), but to be the example to save ourselves! And to teach us that the ego can be transcended..."on earth as it is in heaven." The resurrection taught us that the body is mortal, but the Soul is immortal. It's eternal. They could not destroy what belonged to God, the Holy Spirit in each and every one of us. That's what Jesus did. He was an evolved Soul with a purpose from God to try to help us.
