Why didn't the Dems send a firmer funding bill with a firm withdrawal date if they knew Bush would veto the we

weaker bill anyways? Let's face. Dems took over Congress for one main reason. The people want out of the Iraq war adn they hired the Dems to get us out..they are sending a bill that gives 100 Billion, 18 more months of fighting and a wishy washy nonbinding end date...sorry folks..thats not firm..its not the answer the American people were looking for..so this weak bill is getting vetoed..so if they knew that why didnt they use this opportunity to show the American people they have some by sending a firmer bill that would also be vetoed.
