How old do you have to be to choose who gets custody of you?

Im not sure what your situation is. If you live with your grandmother and don't see your dad whats the issue with what a piece of paper says? Sounds like your upset and what to try and get back at him or get attention. The legal system isn't there for your personal vendettas.
