What storylines or repetitions link the crucifixion of jesus to the rest of the gospel according to luke.?

Don't know of any storyline,, Luke wrote a great Gospel, He also wrote the book of Acts, Luke gives us alot of good information on Jesus and His ministry, it will take you to Heaven if you believe.
